here is one of three fashion illustrations for a mini winter collection. this one is more of a going outside in the winter breeze, while trying to stay warm and fashionable.

this look is something I wish I could pull off. honestly, I’ve been seeing people all winter posting such beautiful looks on Instagram with such beautiful coats. instead of actual buying one, I decided to design and draw one that I actually really love. let’s see if I will actually ever make it.
the look illustrated is another modest look, which is actually kind of perfect for anyone when suffering in this winter wind. it consists of rolled up faded black jeans which is a style that I really love. a medium gray knitted sweater dress is added which looks really cute with the look, and really warm. a black hijab is added to the look. now for the outer wear! the coat is the main part of the look, which is a mix of all the colours seen in the outfit. i’m just so in love with this coat. from the colour, to the design, to the fit. my favourite part of the coat is the inside which is just a weird sort of squiggly print of different shades of gray, black and blue. the cuffs as well, have a black strip, with a white thin strip for an accent. the shape of the coat is slightly fitted from the top until the waist, and a flared skirt. of course, there were small healed black boots added as well. a perfect way to complete the look.
designing and illustrating the look weren’t that hard. this illustration first started off in the margins of my notes for three hour lectures. I added small details later on, which helped to make the look much better. the only problem I did have with illustrating the look, was getting the design of the inside of the coat how I wanted. it still doesn’t look how I wanted, but I kinda still love it. the major problem was recording this look. as you can probably tell from the video, some parts are missing, as for some reason it did not get recorded. it would have taken me probably twenty minutes or so, but because of technical difficulties it took much longer.
apart from these minor difficulties, I enjoyed illustrating the look and just having some time to paint and design and draw without work getting in the way. definitely am planning to do more illustrations this coming year.
