The second part of my review for the Paris Couture Haute 2016 is here. Again, the website I used to look at the designers and their designs was
Vogue. The specific link is: Spring 2016 Couture. Also you can look at part 1 of the review here.
You can click on a specific outfit, to look at the review I did for the outfit, but a full review of the collection is also below the images.
– Elie Saab –
This outfit gives me a look of Tinkerbell. From the style of the skirt, to the little satchel hanging from the side and the lace-up boots. The entire outfit has a slight blue-silver colour to it.
Again I loved the style of the skirt with the little flaps over one another giving it a flared look. The belt pulls together the outfit separating the designs from the top and bottom. The sleeves I especially loved in this outfit.
This outfit looks amazing and is made mainly of net, lace and sequins. I love the colour and the design a lot. The best part I would have to same would be the style of the poncho. The way the sequins are arranged to the net neckline.
A gorgeous and majestic look with the small blue designs throughout the outfit. The designs on the top part of the dress are very bold and then become delicate throughout the skirt of the dress. Once again separated with a belt. The colours, the design, everything about this dress shows the elegance and beauty of it.
I love the different net and lace designs that are used throughout the dress. It shows texture and designs. The top part is like a poncho with the sleeves being short and able to drape over with flare over the shoulder. The neckline looks like its separate from the dress which gives it a unique look.
This dress looks amazing with the many folds to create even more texture throughout the dress and not only using the lace. The off-the-shoulder look, is amazing with the dress with all the folds gathering up at the top to bring it together.
All the designs by Saab looked amazing together filled with sequins, ruffles, lace, net and all put in different designs for dresses. The nude colours with some metallic sequins seemed to look amazing and full of elegance.
– Giambattista Valli –
The colours for this dress look amazing together. The contrast between the heavy print on the top of the dress with the light print on the skirt looked amazing. Everything was put together and sectioned with the thick black bow belt. The ruffles on the skirt looked amazing especially with the skirt slightly angled off.
The colours look amazing on this dress. The skirt section is filled with different fabrics either printed or of a simple colour, but looked amazing together. The top section looks really nice with the fabric together and then tucked into the skirt. Although I would liked it better if both parts were put together.
The print and design is one of my favorites. The small lace design together creating a high-low skirt with a crop top onto. All of one print but a black lace print belt complimenting the heels and pulling together the outfit.
The style of the skirt is gorgeous with the high-low cute. The entire dress in made of a printed lace showing texture and letting the dress fall in gorgeous ways. The straps of the dress look amazing which are basically small flowers from the lace.
The prints that Valli used for the designs looked amazing. With the different colours and prints together, it created an amazing collection.
– Schiaparelli –
The ruffles of the collar and the sleeves looked amazing. The lines of the dress were also done so neatly and made the dress fall neatly in place.
The colours of this design give a very majestic queen look to the outfit. The style looks really nice, but looks a lot like a classic Chanel piece with the style of the jacket and skirt.
The print on this dress looks nice, but I was more intrigued by the look of the neckline and shoulder area. It goes amazing with the dress and the skirts lines flowing down beautifully.
The colours of this dress look amazing. It looks like many different shades of blue and purple all together in the skirt and throughout the dress. The top looks like its tucked into the skirt but it gives the top a beautiful look.
The dress although looking quite sheer, seems fine as the many folds create a texture and a thicker material. The top part of how the folds are on top of one another looks good with the dress.
The dress although with metallic print looks good as they give a nice look with the slight folds in the skirt when it moves, The top of the dress looks nice as well.
The colour of the dress is beautiful and looks like many shades of purple are in it, but I focused on looking at mainly the flowers intertwined within one of the straps of the dress. It gives it a much unique and colourful look to the outfit.
The skirt look gorgeous but I focused mainly on the top part of the dress as two colour are now added to the different straps and how one strap is with all the fabric pulled together and draped over the shoulder.
The neckline and the many colours seen in the skirt are the main beauty of Schiaparelli’s designs. The collection in general I loved but, these were just a few that I absolutely loved.
– Valentino –
The shoulder section looks amazing with the ruffled sectioned fabric put together to create the sleeve, it is all pulled together. Another thing is that it goes perfectly with the entire outfit as the skirt is nicely ruffled as well.
I love the use of the accessories with this dress. the bodice is connected as straps and pulling up the dress. The accessory is like a necklace and belt all attached and giving another design to the outfit.
The colours go really well together and I love the idea of the design with the two colour on different straps which looks amazing with the skirt which has the colours folded into the creases.
Again this maroon dress flows really nicely with the shoulder straps pulled together creating the outfits design. The accessory adding a little colour is like a necklace and arm bracelet attached together and in the middle creates its own design.
This dress is a really simple dress flowing together with the necklace belt accessory adding a little colour and design to it.
The colours of the dress look nicely together. The detailed one coloured designs flow into both colours and make the outfit flow together.
The metallic coloured designs and metallic accessories are what made Valentino’s designs pop out. The style of the dress were very nice and different as well.
– Zuhair Murad –
The skirt looked amazing as a high-low and with the small detailed designs throughout the bodice and part of the skirt, it all was put together well. One thing I would say is, that I would prefer that a fabric would be added under the top section of the dress as I feel its slightly revealing.
The gown is gorgeous as a full skirt full of big lace patterns throughout the design. The slightly off-the-shoulder straps looks amazing especially as it is lace, along with the small neckline seen.
The skirt again is gorgeous with the high-low style. The print looks nice as well with a fuller job on the top section and then fading down towards the end of the skirt. The metallic coloured belt not only sections off the two pieces, but pulls the look together.
On this dress I love the small pink ribbon designs as well as the flowers. The metallic belt pulls together the look. I would like to say though, that I would like there to be a fabric at least covering until the knee area of the dress as I feel as it is exposing slightly too much.
The off-the-shoulder look is amazing with this dress. I especially love the flowers throughout the dress as again it seems to show the heavy to light then heavy look again.
The high-low skirt looks amazing with this dress. The two different colours look amazing together especially with one popping against the other. When looking closer you can see that it has a metallic net covering the dress which pulls together the look. Also, I would say that a sea green bandeau should at least be added to cover a little more.
The gown looks gorgeous with a symmetrical look to it. The flowers which have some glitter in it, the off-the-shoulder look and the slit in the gown gives it some elegance and makes the design look even more gorgeous.
A very small ruffled material is used to create the gown which looks amazing. The large metallic gray designs work well against the soft pink base of the gown.
The entire collection by Murad looked amazing because of the pastel colours used, the flowers in his designs, the small intricate metallic designs throughout his work. I loved his entire collection and everything worked really well with one another.
