Paris Couture Haute 2017 – Part I

Dear Reader,

Paris Couture Haute 2017 was an amazing week! It went from January 22 – 26 which I know was a while ago. The website that told me of all designers was Mode à Paris, and the pictures were taken from the reviews on Vogue.  Here is a specific link: Spring 2017 Couture.

I loved looking through all the designs created but some just blew me away, which will be talked about in the next two posts. I would just like to point out that these are my opinions on these designs which just so happen to be my favorite and the ones I fell in love with.

Also, a little reminder that the names of each designer are also linked with their personal website, which will take you to another page. As well as, some designs may have short note as to why I am in love with the look, so please click to look closely at the designs and read my review of the particular design.

– Alberta Ferretti –

I absolutely love all designs by Ferritti, but these three pieces from his recent collection stood out the most. His collection was themed of black and red colours, playing with different fabrics making each piece look so elegant among the rest.

– Antonio Grimaldi –

Blush like colours seem to be the theme of Grimaldi’s latest collection and I am loving each piece. All his designs are elegant, gorgeous and plays with new textures and designs which look amazing. I also just discovered his work during this fashion week, and I am already in love.

– Armani Prive –

To be honest, I wasn’t that amazed by Prive’s collection. I usually am in love with his work, but this time it just wasn’t my favorite. The looks above were the only two that really stood out. His colour palette for the collection was black, orange and yellow. He also played a lot with the idea of complicated prints throughout his collection, mixing and matching to create the perfect look.

– Christian Dior –

All designs looked amazing and were put together beautifully, but again these were just some of my favorites. The styles, colours, and designs just stood out to me.

Dear Reader, look out for part 2 of Paris Couture Haute.
