    day fourteen – clock

dear reader this look is one of my favourites cause whenever I look at this illustration I smile and have a good laugh. even when I thought of it, I was smiling because I thought it looked hilarious because of the yellow-gold clock glasses. – day fourteen : clock – media: XL Canson Mix Media sketchbook, Pental Arts Colour Brush (#101 black), Tombow Dual-Sided, White Gel Pen, Muji Ink 0.38 Pen this look gives of a seventies vibe with the flared jeans, and round glasses. I decided to keep the look simple as I wanted to show of the glasses, and the roman numerals. the look consists of a gray…

    day twelve – whale

dear reader, this is probably one of my favourite looks throughout all the looks I did for inktober. I decided to combine the fit of ariana grande’s pink dress on jimmy fallon last year, and the colouring and look of a humpback whale, to tie in the idea of the whale. – day twelve : whale – media: XL Canson Mix Media sketchbook, Pental Arts Colour Brush (#101 black), Muji Ink 0.38 Pen this look consists of a simple black and white striped full-sleeve top which was added to represent the lines a humpback whale has on its tum. it is paired with black skinny jeans, a pair of black…

    day ten – flowing

dear reader, this is definitely probably my least favourite look because of how it turned out. I loved the idea behind the word flowing, and I was hoping to make a gorgeous dress which didn’t exactly turn out the way I wanted it too. this is probably because I didn’t work with the shading the right way using just the ink. if I had used watercolours instead of ink, it would have worked much better. I might work with this prompt again to do my original idea. – day ten : flowing – media: XL Canson Mix Media sketchbook, Pental Arts Colour Brush (#101 black), Muji Ink 0.38 Pen this…

    day nine – precious

dear reader, here we are again, long after inktober has ended but I still really wanted to post the illustrations I had made then. some of these looks I have been really in love with. anyways, for this particular prompt, I wasn’t particularly happy with how it turned out because of the proportions. – day nine :  precious – media: XL Canson Mix Media sketchbook, Pental Arts Colour Brush (#101 black), Tombow Dual-Sided, Gold Paint, Muji Ink 0.38 Pen this look turned out well in terms of what I wanted to show in the outfit. however, I didn’t really like how the proportion of the person came out to be.…

    day eight – star

dear reader, this is probably my favourite in terms of how it turned out with colour! i did end up using watercolour’s for this look. i know i know. it’s not ink, however once it gets on the paper, there is no going back… like ink. so i ended up doing a galaxy theme, cause i recently perfected a piece that was set in a galaxy. i don’t know when i will post that… but here this is for now! – day eight : star –     media: XL Canson Mix Media sketchbook, Pental Arts Colour Brush (#101 black), Yarka Watercolour Palette, Muji Ink 0.38 Pen this look turned…

    day seven – exhausted

dear reader, here is a look representing how i will look tomorrow morning after studying all night for my midterm. yes, i have a midterm early in the morning tomorrow, and here i am posting this. i’m posting this early, because i need to go study… anyways, here’s one of my favourite illustrations, that i can definitely imagine myself in for late night studying at two am, with a nice warm cup of tea. or even while arting and watching gilmore girls in my bed. – day seven : exhausted – media: XL Canson Mix Media sketchbook, Pental Arts Colour Brush (#101 black), Muji Ink 0.38 Pen the look consists…

    day six – drooling

dear reader, first of all, i finally posted on time in a couple days! it’s been a while. i’m happy that its done now for the day cause now i need to go study for my midterm that it two days! yikes. anyways, the concept for this piece wasn’t too hard to decide on, cause i knew right away, that it would be interesting to design some sleepwear. i instantly wanted to do some chic victorian night dress, but i decided that if the prompt was going to be drooling, i’d need to design something not so chic. – day six : drooling –  media: XL Canson Mix Media sketchbook,…

    day five – chicken

dear reader, I know what you all are wondering, in what way could someone represent a chicken in a decent modest fashion look? well, I have figured it out. it wasn’t easy to say the least. I went through many different roughs and ideas before I finally settled on this look. it’s not exactly perfect, but it does work. I took the theme of chicken, and sort of went … left. think about chicken wire and the boning technique used in some avand grade pieces before looking at the illustration below. – day five : chicken – media: XL Canson Mix Media sketchbook, Pental Arts Colour Brush (#101 black), Muji…

    day four – spell

dear reader, this might be my favourite look in terms of it being heavily inspired by a very close place in my heart. the place is hogwarts. i mean, i did say that this blog and my instagram feed is slowly showing how much of a hufflepuff I am (right now just with the colour palette). don’t worry, more will definitely be coming soon! anyways, back to the look. it is greatly inspired by everything inspired by harry potter, and hogwarts. i mean the entire look is black and yellow! I took inspiration from the classic snape turn in the first movie with his robe swirling around majestically behind him.…
