dear reader,
happy inktober! i’m so excited for this month! i’ve been waiting for this for a long time because I’ve had art block for a while, and with inktober and fashion week happening i’m so inspired and want to put out all my ideas! i would like to say that i won’t be posting an inktober piece every single day, on both this blog and my Instagram. this is because I am honestly probably the busiest this month. however, i will be posting a collection of them together every few days as posts on Instagram. of course, I will do a final post for the final collection of inktober 2018. I will be doing a few of them as posts when i am free, however not for all. i still hope that you all will enjoy! anyways, here’s the piece for day one of inktober, based on the prompt, poisonous! it wasn’t exactly how I envisioned it, I mean just a few minutes after putting the ink down i know a hundred different ways the illustration could have looked a bit better. however it did somehow turn a bit nice. just know that i only had around twenty minutes to put this together. i hope you all enjoy the first piece of inktober!

this fashion illustration has a lot of elements that I loved putting into it to creating sort of a poisonous theme around it. when I first saw the prompt, I immediately thought of the apple from snow white. it might have been because I was watching once upon a time while looking at it, or just because. you’ll be able to see a few apples, and even some poisonous leaves in the print of the top which is under the leather jacket. apart from just fairytales, I thought of more of a image of the fashion with all black, with chains, fishnet gloves, leather jackets, and those chunky boots. this was my grade four dream… along with multicolored hair. yes, this was lil ‘ol me back in the day. it never happened by the way… anyways, I decided to add a leather jacket, along with some straight fit jeans, and some boots. I actually really love the look. however, I would have changed for everything to be black except the boots and the fairytale top. I also would have given more of an effect to show that she is in fact, leaving against the wall. also, try to fix how she is holding her arms. still love it loads, add I hope you did too!
dear reader, look forward to a lil update post tomorrow of what’s been happening and what happened to fashion week!
