This illustration is one I made to end of the year of 2016, and show that I am ready to face of what 2017 brings. Although 2016 has been a miserable year for the world with Trump’s presidency, the current situation in Aleppo, the many passing’s of innocent lives, and so much more, I would not have changed my personal experiences. The year of 2016 has in a way been a year of healing and acceptance of what is yet to come. I would say that I am proud of how far I have come since this time last year. There are still some changes I need to make in my life, but honestly this year has been a year full of family, friends, fashion, art, books, and so many experiences that I am so thankful of. I have many dreams that I would like to achieve in the coming year, so, here’s to 2017.

p.s. the lines on the cheeks were not supposed to stand out as much, but the ink got out of my control and were set to look as so. also, I haven’t used ink in about a year’s time so this is the best I could do. hopefully, I will get better by the end of 2017.
